I've always been fascinated with the "Big Apple", especially the early 1900's version. You can imagine my joyous surprise today when I came across a wonderful slide show of early 1900's NYC images at the "New Yorker" Web site. The focus of the images is on the many bridges in that city but there are a variety of other images included also.
