Today, for what feels like the billionth time in the past 10 years, I received yet another forwarded email from someone telling me not to miss out on receiving money from Microsoft & AOL.
It's a hoax friends!
The Microsoft/AOL Giveaway is a hoax which has been circulating on the Internet since around 1997. I've seen just about every variation that you can imagine - free vacations, new clothes, etc.
