First of all - a "social network" is a Web site created that allows individuals from all over the world to create a personal Web page for themselves and then to link that page to millions of other people through that site. You've heard of "My Space" - well, that is a BIG social network.Last night I got to wondering about the possibility of having a private social network, say for a family that is spread out all over the country. After spending just a few minutes at Google, I found a very nice service entitled "Famster". For absolutely no cost to the users, anyone can set up a family friendly private social network.
I'm happy, my wife Susie is happy, as are our 7 children and 12 grandchildren!
